The Road Less Travelled

Growing up, I only had a handful of friends that were what I would consider “religious” – visiting church every sunday, being involved with other religious groups or people, and actively believing in god other than the occasional curse. From that group, even less were alternative religions. I have one friend who’s been pagan for as long as I have, and recently reconnected with another friend from school who’s a goddess worshipper. There were never any strong religious people or statements in my life as a child and teen. I had to stumble my way through different world religions to find what was right for me, since the idea of religion and spirituality was something I focused on as a child that didn’t have any.
