WIP: some things I’ve been doing lately

Their lips parted, and instantly Aradia sucked in a breath of air. If a simple touch from him was magical, that kiss was otherworldly. What could anything more possibly feel like? The thought crossed her mind that it may very well overwhelm and kill her.

“I’ve loved you for forever, you know,” he murmured against her cheek.

Aradia paused, and then a short laugh escaped her. Eli drew back. She couldn’t help it; her lips were quirking into a sardonic grin. “Forever? Eli, we’ve only known one another a short time. That sounds like something you’d hear in a storybook.” Read the rest of this entry

fiction: Where Roads Meet

The following is a bit of fiction, a story I’m working on. Obviously, it features Aradia. She is who this blog is named after; my Apothecary store as well; also my email, my twitter account, and more. To say that she’s my favorite of all my characters would be an understatement.

What most people don’t know – what only the fiance knows, in fact – is that she’s so much more than a character to me. Read the rest of this entry
